Escape Room - Creation & Administration
I was approached by several of our Crew Activities Managers on board to construct and operate an escape room for Cast Members. When asked about scope they mentioned a zero-budget for props or construction materials. My limitations also included: temporary room locations with 30 mins set up time, 20 minute playing time, and 10 minute reset. With this in mind I created 3 experiences in total. The first was an Egyptian/Society of Explorers and Adventurers theme. Due to high demand, I originated one loosely-based on the hit TV show Stranger Things and the other from Zootopia The first two rooms ran for a total of two nights with 8 teams going through each room per night. The third one was still in the testing phase.
I am proud to announce that thegreatescapequest.com has launched and now I am being commissioned to create escape room props for different expos and events across the country.

Theater Cast - Blocking Books
During my time with DCL Youth Activities Entertainment, I noticed a disconnect which I wanted to meet with a solution. Cast Crossover Rehearsals overlapped what the cast was taught in Toronto, what we do on our ship, and what the cast does on other ships. It was the same product, but new locations for the same show allowed for different iterations to happen because of necessary improvise. To adjust for this, I constructed and originated a blocking book which was given to all ships and matched with the space in Toronto as well. This allowed the quality of the production to be concise in every venue. in order for all the ships to be on the same page. Additionally, it expedited the rehearsal process and clearly set expectations in advance for all performers. The reception of the project was greatly appreciated and documented by Senior DCL and Shoreside Leadership. Portions of the material was also merged into company functional guidelines. In order to maintain proper licensing of shows, I cannot post examples, yet am happy to provide materials upon request.
DCL Cast Member Activity Book
When COVID-19 required Disney Cruise Line Cast Members to self-isolate aboard, I knew I wanted to create something which could bring us together. I chose to write and originate an activity booklet via free resources cited and found online. I chose to work with my favorite Disney intellectual property theme—The Society of Explorers and Adventurers. This took roughly three days to complete. Once sent fleet wide to all of the Disney Cruise Ships, the project was met with positive reception.
Personal Sketch Book
Every creative process needs the ability to effectively communicate ideas to get everyone on the same page during a project. I have decided to further my artist skills in drawing in order to be more effective in design communication. Below are some of my most recent sketches.
Starbucks Training Guide/ Video
When starting at any position, I look for any ways I can contribute to plus the business. While training at Starbucks, I noticed a opportunity to fine tune the Point of Sale operation system and accurately describe it's functionality to someone who has never used one. I originated and created a training plan which included handouts, a training guide, and a proposal for why the collateral was created. All work was completed on my own time and has proved useful to trainees who have received it. As always, I am looking for more opportunities to share my skills and expertise.
Promo Film Piece - COVID Response
COVID-19 concerns introduced new procedures and policies into the Cruising Industry. To meet these challenges, while keeping the interests of the guests at heart—the Cast and Crew members were unified in one message, “We will be back, the magic of Disney is still alive.” To capture the spirit of this movement, I teamed up with the Cruise Director, Crew Activities Manager, and Broadcast Department, to highlight the efforts of Crew Members in various roles around the ship who were working hard to keep the magic alive along with the ways they are getting prepared to welcome the guests back on board. The project was met with great reception on the ship and was sent to Disney’s PR team for approval. I am happy to provide email feedback about my participation and reception upon request. Once the video enters public domain, this page will be updated with a link.

Escape Rooms with the Great Escape Quest
Escape rooms are unique and such a great way for teams and families to learn how to work with each other. I have successfully launched my buisness the Great Escape Quest to have mobile escape rooms in the Orlampa area. We also can be commissioned to create unique games and escape rooms to be shipped around the country.
